to Order the Correct Walking Speed
Use
the following guidelines to determine the walking speed that's
just right for you. Then, choose your
favorite style of music from the choices at the bottom of this
page.
Level
1 Just starting to exercise or you're very overweight.
Beginner Walking Speed: 3.0 - 3.2 Miles Per Hour
Level 2 Lightly active in
sports, dance or any regular exercise 2-3 times per week. Intermediate
Walking Speed: 3.4 - 3.6 Miles Per Hour
Level 3 Active in sports,
dance or any regular exercise 4-5 times per week.
Intermediate Walking Speed: 3.7 - 3.8 Miles Per Hour
Level
4 You are in excellent shape and work out 5-6 times
per week.
Advanced Walking Speed: 4.0 - 4.1 Miles Per Hour
